Festival Charity

Each year the festival committee selects a charity to which all the proceeds from donated unused tokens, charity quizzes and collections go.

This year we have decided on Tŷ Hafan the family hospice for young lives.

Tŷ Hafan helps life – limited children, young people and their families make the most of the precious time they have left together. We offer a much – needed source of strength, support and short break care for the whole family. This support is taken right into the heart of the family home or wherever it is needed.

Tŷ Hafan is there to help these families through every step of their unimaginable journey – from diagnosis through to bereavement and beyond - 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is there for as long as needed.

The unique service that Tŷ Hafan provides costs over £3 million pounds a year but is completely free of charge to our families. With more than 80% of our funding coming from voluntary donations we rely on the generosity of the general public to raise money and volunteer their time to help.

Tŷ Hafan has a jam-packed calendar of fundraising events throughout the year, from a Three Peaks Challenge to a Ladies Midnight Sleep Walk, so there’s sure to be something of interest for everyone! If challenges are not for you, there are plenty of other ways you can support Tŷ Hafan – through volunteering, donating, or leaving a legacy in your Will.
