Wales' largest beer festival returns to the CIA with its exclusive range of real ales and ciders plus German and Belgian beers and live music.
|
In June 2009 the Campaign for Real Ale will be transforming Cardiff International Arena into the biggest pub in Wales. The Great Welsh Beer & Cider Festival has established itself as the premier real ale event in Wales and includes the Champion Beer of Wales competition which is held on the Friday. There are now around 35 real ale breweries in Wales and we hope to have them all, as well as real ale from across the UK. Altogether the festival will feature over 150 different real ales and more than 40 ciders as well as an unbeatable selection of foreign and bottled beers. | ![]() |

Our team is on-site from Monday 8th - Sunday 14th June and would appreciate whatever help you can offer during that time, even if its just for a few hours. Volunteers can expect to get involved in bar work, admissions, token sales, cider bar, foreign beers or stewarding, depending upon preference and experience.
